Panko/Bread crumbs/Shrimp recipe
Bread crumbs also called panko. It is a variety of flaky bread crumb used in fried foods. Made from bread without crusts, with a crisper, airier texture than most types of breading found in Western cuisine, it is a good match with shrimp, fish, seafood products. Because regular panko has no real flavor of its own, it loves to be combined with seasonings - fresh or dried herbs, hot peppers, or grated cheese.
It is used to cover the fish or vegetable prepared to fry in order to make it more typical of Asian food.
There are white panko and yellow panko here.
